Tidy Towns are holding a Clean Up Day this Saturday 8th March.  We will be meeting in the Corribdale Car Park at 10.30am.  We are hoping for a big turnout of people this year - Many hands make light work!  Please support your town.  If you can not make the clean up then just step outside your own front door and take responsibility for your own area.

The Galway Races has been part of the city's history since the first race meeting in 1869. The July/August race festival is one of the largest and most popular in the country. trout New Weed Cutting Boat Launched on Lough Corrib
The Western Regional Fisheries board is delighted to announce the launch of a new boat designed for weed cutting operations on Lough Corrib. The boat was commissioned in conjunction with the Central Fisheries Board and the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

At Baurisheen Bay. Seniors, Juniors & Mixed Races. A fun day out for all the family with additional events of Tug Of War, Penalty Shoot Out, Throwing The Sheaf and a Bouncing Castle for the children. To end the day there will be a display of  Irish Dancing and music by DJ Aidan Kenny.
