The four beautiful gardens are themed on the Celtic seasonal festivals and set within 11 acres of native woodland & wildflower meadows, featuring a nature trail, ogham trees, children's discovery trail, an ancient ring fort & our spectacular calendar sundial, the largest of its kind in Ireland. The gardens are entirely family friendly & wheelchair accessible. Our Garden Café provides excellent lunches & snacks. The ideal venue-with-a-difference for your company meeting, special event or wedding. Whether you are touring as an individual or part of a tour group, a school looking for a field trip; a bride to be or business person looking for the perfect venue; or just looking for something different to do, Brigit's Garden offers an experience that will last a lifetime. Open daily 11am - 5:30 pm from May 1st to 30th September. To complement your meal we offer an assortment of teas and freshly brewed coffee, and a selection of quality wines by the glass or bottle.
Whether you meet a friend for a chat over a glass of wine, dine al fresco on our patio overlooking the gardens or just have time to drop in for a cup of coffee, a visit to our Garden Café is sure to leave you feeling refreshed and satisfied.

The buildings, gardens and a section of the nature trail are accessible to wheelchairs and there is a fully accessible toilet.
Our Location
Brigit's Garden is located at the gateway to Connemara, 2km (1 mile) from the N59 between Moycullen and Oughterard, just a 20 minute drive north of Galway city. It is well signposted from the main road.
