The Yellow shop - An Siopa Bui The Yellow shop is situated in the Spiddal Craft and Design Studios (Ceardlann in Geilge) on the coast road about 20 minutes drive from Galway City.
The Ceardlann (Craft Centre) is in a beautiful setting overlooking Galway Bay.
As you enter Spiddal Village you will see a group of attractive white buildings set back from the road. There is a large car park at the rear of the centre and plenty of safe pedestrian area between the shops. Children are welcome.

As well as the best range of cardmaking materials in Ireland we also have a paint you own pottery facility. Here you can paint either a tableware item such as a cup, plate, or bowl which must be left with us for a week to ten days for glazing. Alternatively you can paint an ornamental item in acrylic. This is very popular with children as it can be taken home the same day. Mum's can bring their children to paint while they do their card making shopping. We have a separate classroom at the shop which is used throughout the year for cardmaking and other classes. If our preplanned classes do not suit you we will arrange a class at any convenient time for a group of four or more.
The Ceardlann has a great variety of shops featuring amongst other things leatherwork, music, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, woodturning and candles. There is also Jacqui's Bistro which serves a variety of delicious food and drink.
So make a day out of it and bring the whole family for a visit to the Spiddal Ceardlann!
